Having a dream house

A dream house is different for everybody - a rockstar's mansion, little, romantic place near the lake, penthouse apartament - or a four bedroom house with a study and back garden full of tulips... Yes, tha's my dream. I love tulips.
So here comes the question - What is your idea of a dream house? Please let me know, what is your idea of dream coming true?

Autumn evenings

So it's autumn already. I haven't even noticed the summer and it's gone. I love this time of the year because of the chestnuts and red leaves. Those evenings when it's not cold yet but already getting dark quite quickly. Autumn is warm and welcoming. It's time for late fruits and late evenings.

Invite this beautiful season to your home with few simple, natural decorations. Remember this time when you were a kind and could make almost anything with chestnuts? Get in this mood again and restore old magic of autumn.

Green is a new black. Well, sort of. But it really starts to become increasingly popular, with the range varying from fresh and funky lime tones to soothing, natural shades.
Green is not offensive while being bold, which is a great advantage, as you can't really go wrong with green. Unless you put emerald green next to lime, but hey, you know that already, don't you?
What kind of rooms can benefit from splash of green? All white tiles bathroom with few green pieces will perk up [just don't go for the coloured bath, sink or whatever - it's a no-no. Never. Ever.].
Deep brown kitchen will brighten up with just few lime coloured additions.

Easy way to re - decorate

I found that this is one of the quickest way to change your room - keep it fresh with clean lines, with few details for color and texture. Find your theme and keep to it.

What you need:

  • feature wall - not too big, you don't want to spent whole day there painting and you don't want it to be too overhelming
  • clear, neutral surroundings (to match for whatever you slap on your feature wall)
  • 2 or 3 decors to implement new color or style to the room (vases are great for the clean look and candles are nice for creating atmosphere)
  • See? Easy. 1 day job finding a theme and executing it.
